Playgrounds should have an initial safety audit followed by routine inspections.
The initial safety audit takes the longest and therefor is the most expensive.
The cost is dependent upon the size of the playground and whether additional testing will be required.
Routine inspections are available at a reduced rate.
Cost and quality of playground inspections vary widely throughout the industry.
A minimum inspection will tell you of unsafe conditions based upon CPSC Public Playground Safety Handbook #325.
My reports provide descriptions of non-compliant as well as compliant issues. The findings are reported by priority of danger and you will receive recommendations for repairs.
I use a cloud based playground inspection program that uses the most recent data and lists the findings and the specific guidelines and regulations that describes the rulings.
Protect yourself from liability, show your due diligence and create a path toward playground compliance.
